Battery Performance
Introduction
In the ViserMark ranking table, the OnePlus Nord CE is classed as a Mid-Tier smartphone (priced between 200 and 500 EURO), with a price of just over 300 EURO, the smartphone offers 5G connectivity and a display working with a 90 Hz refreshing rate. Being powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750 5G, it also has a 4500 mAh battery capacity.
The overall Battery Performance Score is now a global score taking calculations from Battery Life, Power Efficiency and Charging Times.
Based on our test results, we have given the OnePlus Nord CE Smartphone a ViserMark score of 50/100. This score places the OnePlus Nord CE smartphone in the middle of ViserMark overall ranking, 18 points below the leader that has a (68/100) score. Compared with other Mid-Tier smartphones, the OnePlus Nord CE performs better than direct competitors like the Xiaomi Poco F3, the Oppo A54 5G and the Samsung A52 5G.
Testing Results
BATTERY LIFE - Days of Use
The OnePlus Nord CE autonomy was close to 48 hours with both 90 and 60 Hz refreshing rates as shown in Figure 1. Based on the ViserMark test protocol, the OnePlus Nord CE obtained a Battery Life score of 2 Days of Use.
The average Day of Use ViserMark score of Mid-Tier smartphones is “2.0” Days. The OnePlus Nord CE autonomy stands very close to the average autonomy for Mid-Tier smartphones.

Our testing is based on real smartphone usage from 100% battery level down to Power Off.
When testing Smartphones, the testing protocol includes common daily life activities, for instance: Calls, Web, Video and Music streaming, Gaming, Social networks, Picture & Video capture and standby.
All testing is performed under strictly controlled test conditions with all activities being executed in a defined order and timeline.

Power Efficiency is calculated using Battery Life and Battery Capacity. This is expressed in “Leaves" and reflects a rating between 1 being least and 5 being the most power-efficient.
The OnePlus Nord CE obtained an overall Power Efficiency Score of 1.5. The average score for Mid-Tier smartphones is 1.6, power efficiency for the OnePlus Nord CE Smartphone performs similarly to other Mid-Tier smartphones.

In conclusion, the OnePlus Nord CE battery performance is average compared with other Mid-Tier smartphones. In terms of autonomy, the OnePlus Nord CE is very close to competitors like the Xiaomi Poco F3 and superior to others such as the Samsung A52 5G and the Samsung A51. To climb to the Top of the ViserMark ranking there are improvements in terms of power efficiency to be made.
