Let’s have a look at the OPPO A16 Battery Performance Testing Results.
Overall Battery Performance Results
With an average price of around 160.00 EURO, the OPPO A16 achieved a good score during our testing, although it cannot match the Realme 7i and Wiko Power U20. Both these smartphones have a larger battery capacity of 6000 mAh, which enables these phones to have 2.5 days of battery life usage.
With a 5000 mAh battery capacity, the OPPO A16 matches that of the Nokia G21. However, this smartphone gained an additional 1-point of 40/100 as a result of demonstrating a faster charging time.
In our testing, the OPPO A16 achieved the following test results:
Battery Performance Score – 39 out of 100
The overall Battery Performance Score is now a global score taking calculations from Battery Life, Power Efficiency and Charging Times.
With a score of 39, the OPPO A16 was awarded 84th place within our database of all battery performance testing scores. Therefore, it is positioned towards the bottom of the overall rankings for battery performance.
The ViserMark Smartphone Ranking 2021/22 table shows full details of our testing results database.
The Average Battery Performance Score of an Entry Tier smartphone is 36.9, so the OPPO A16 showed a very slight improvement in the average battery performance when tested in our labs.

Should I buy it?
As a budget smartphone, the OPPO A16 is newer than the OPPO A15 and, therefore, offers a good upgrade alternative with many enhanced features such as screen size, display, battery performance and connectivity.
It is light to carry and offers a good user experience due to improvements in resolution for easier viewing. With a triple camera, there are additional features, including digital zoom. Also, the front camera is ideal for selfies and, if required, for video calls.
Being powered with an Octa-core (2.3 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A53 + 1.8 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A53) MediaTek Helio G35 processor, you will be able to multitask quickly, and the 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB offers plenty of internal storage.
This smartphone offers basic functionality and performs well due to its enhanced battery capacity. However, other smartphones like the Realme 7i and Nokia G10 may be considered alternatives for better delivery.
