Success Metrics
Introduction
Sony Xperia L4 is a low-end smartphone identified with a large screen 21:9 and a slender form and clean design. Despite its large display it is designed for an easy and comfortable one handed operation. The quality of the screen despite its size is not at a high standard and general performance does not meet expectations powered by the MediaTek Helio P22. Sony has chosen a 3580 mAh to power this device. It is risky whereas most of manufacturers are focusing on 5000 mAh battery capacity these days. We expect this device to achieve 2 days of performance that would give it a competitive advantage compared to mid-end range.
Testing Results
We have executed ViserMark protocol using the only one refresh rate setting available, 60 Hz.
Here is below summary of our testing runs. In order to compute the official score ranking we have calculated score based on 2 runs.
Test Graphics
We were expecting Sony Xperia L4 to rank at least 2 Days as it is a low-end smartphone. It is just over 2 days but anyway over.
Conclusion
Sony Xperia L4 achieves a good performance. With one of the smallest battery capacity, only 3580 mAh, it manages to rank over 2 days, this is good for a mid-end product.
ViserMark tests are performed with the strictest protocol in a controlled environment to ensure repetition and consistency powered and automated by SmartViser’s test automation solution viSer.
